Warp and weft are of wool except for certain types tied by semi-nomadic peoples who use cotton. The wool used is selected and spun with greater care, and the quality of the colors is superior. These carpets are also denser and they have a higher number of knots per cm compared to other carpets manufactured in the Shiraz area. The result is a carpet that is more durable, has a compact pile and more varied colors.
