Are your carpets genuine?

Yes, all our rugs are hand-knotted and genuine. We offer both oriental and modern rugs, with certificates of authenticity included for all rugs.

How does shipping work?

The delivery time is normally 1–5 working days. We use TNT Express for deliveries and offer both parcel post and home delivery.

  • Postal package: Collected at your nearest delivery point.
  • Home delivery: Delivered directly to your door (apartment or house). TNT will contact you before delivery.

How do I return?

You always have a 14-day right of withdrawal according to Section 10 of the Distance Agreement Act.

To return:

  • Attach original receipt.
  • It is recommended to send the carpet back via Posten or TNT Express.
  • Save the submission receipt.
  • The rug can also be returned directly to the store.

Please note: If you choose to return the rug within 14 days, you are responsible for the return shipping. Unredeemed packages are charged SEK 395.

What happens if I don't pick up my package?

For packages that are not picked up within 14 days, a fee of SEK 395 is charged to cover return shipping and handling.

What do I do if my product is damaged?

Always inspect your carpet upon delivery. In case of damage:

  • Report the damage to us and the transport company immediately.
  • Save images and documentation.
  • Contact our customer service at info@mattkompaniet.se .

Refund

Refunds are made within 15 days from when we receive your return.

  • Card payment: The money is put back on your card.
  • Cash on delivery: Payment is made to your bank account or via a payment notice.

Please note: Compensation for shipping, administration and return costs is not paid.

Do you specialize in carpet cleaning and repair?

Yes! We offer professional carpet cleaning and repair. Our methods are gentle and chemical-free.

  • Carpet cleaning costs: SEK 500/sqm.
  • Free collection and delivery of carpets for washing within Greater Stockholm (when washing at least 3 square meters).

How do I take care of my carpet?

Regular vacuuming keeps your carpet fresh. Stains are most easily removed directly with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. For deep cleaning, we recommend professional carpet cleaning.

Can you send carpets abroad?

Yes, we deliver worldwide. Within the EU, shipping is free, and for other countries the cost varies depending on the destination.

Can I return or exchange a rug?

Absolutely! We offer returns within 14 days, provided the rug is returned in its original condition and with the original receipt. Read more about our return policy .
