Tabriz carpets have several different kinds of designs from medallions, Herati, Mahi to figurative, pictorial and even 3-D designs. The carpets made in Tabriz are among the best in Iran and come in different qualities. Cork wool with silk inserts is used to make finer carpets in Tabriz.
